Popular with couples and families, the sunset views are superb
Boatman’s Cottage is A listed with period features galore and sleeps 4 people in a double and twin room.
Boatman’s Cottage is one of four mirror-image holiday cottages set in a row alongside theArgyll coastal road. Retaining many of the original features, including a lovely wooden verandah and porch, wood panelling, coomed ceilings and original windows, this gorgeous rental cottage certainly has the WOW factor!
Fantastically warm and welcoming, there is a superb real log fire in the lounge, great for warming up after a brisk winter walk along the Argyll beach. The spacious accommodation is furnished with antique or cottage-y pieces, but has recently benefitted from a new kitchen and refurbishment throughout.
Boatman’s enjoys superb views to the front over the coastal plain to the sea and islands beyond. To the rear, there is a small woodland copse with the forestry commission track running behind which takes you right up into the hills, which is in fact part of the Kintyre way walking route.
